DOWABO – Double Wall Isolated Steel Bottle

It is getting more and more cold and grey outside. To escape the winter blues I started my workout again. Since the beginning of the month I am going to the gym three times a week (I do not know how long I will sustain it, haha). So, it was the perfect timing, when Dowabo asked me to test their insulated bottle. Because I am always the one never drinking enough during the day, Dowabo is the ideal companion to my workout sessions.

Dowabo is a double wall isolated drinking bottle with a steel body, which makes it very robust. The bottle is suited for cold, hot and even fizzy drinks. First, I was a bit sceptical if the seal of the bottle is tight enough, but even in case of carbonic beverages the seal is reliable. Moreover the extent of delivery contains a spare seal, as well – for the worst-case scenario. 😉 By using food-safe stainless steel Dowabo is neutral in taste, which is very important for me. Nobody wants his tea taste like metal.

The cleaning was a bit tricky for me. The opening is quite small, why I needed a soft bottle brush without scratchy material to clean the inside. Alternatively, you could wash the bottle in a dishwasher, which is possible, but in the long run not advisable.

Now, to the design … I simple love it. The bottle shape reminds me a bit of the legendary bottles of an American beverage. 🙂 The 500 ml bottle also lies comfortably in the hand. You can get the bottle in five different colors – green, silver, blue, black and red. In the sun the bottles even sparkles a bit – such an eyecatcher. I already got asked several times, where I have it from.

All in all, I really can recommend DOWABO! No matter if you like to use the bottle while shopping, in the office or during outdoor activities, it combines all the possible advantages, simple by its innovative design and perfect handling.
