Umami – Indochinese restaurant Berlin

Here you have some pictures of one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin called Umami. They offer creative and homemade Indochinese meals.

What can I say? It does not only look delicious, it really is. First, we had summer rolls and a papaya salad, afterwards a vegetarian dish and BBQ prawns. The grilled prawns came with fried sweet potatoes, rice cookies and wok-tossed cherry tomatoes. I could not get enough of it … you know, I loooove Asian food.

But beside the food, the location and atmosphere is very important to me, too. Outside you have a great view to the water tower and the beautiful neighborhood. Also, the decoration is very lovely with the typical Asian lamps, rustical wooden benches and colourful plants. Inside, you even have a chill-out area, where you can sit on the floor and have your cocktail with lots of pillows around you. The perfect location for lunch or dinner with your friends.

Kisses, Valentina. :-*
